Whittingehame College was the first institution of its kind in this country and since its establishment in 1931 has made a unique contribution to the synthesis of what is best in Jewish and English cultures. It is in recognition of this and in order to ensure that successive generations of pupils will benefit from such an education that so many leading personalities in the Jewish community now serve on the Board of Governors.
Contemporary conditions call for an education which will prepare the Jewish boy for his place in the modern world. This can only be achieved by close integration of Jewish and secular studies conducted on a high academic level. Our success in this field is demonstrated by our old boys' achievements in many spheres academic, professional and commercial and the distinguished part they play in the life of the wider Jewish community.
